Mediation is an informal and non-adversarial process in which a neutral impartial person, the mediator facilitates negotiations between the disputing parties. The mediator helps the parties find a mutually acceptable solution to their dispute. A mediator has no power to impose a solution and will not attempt to do so. This approach is different from arbitration or a court solution where the arbitrator(s) or the judge decides the dispute.
As a certified mediator or arbitrator, Ms. Cole brings to the process extensive practice and trial experience by representing private clients and governmental entities for over 28 years. Ms. Cole has mediated or arbitrated contracts and labor and employment cases in the Middle District of Florida.
